We first loved Imran Khan for the great cricket he played for Pakistan and won the Cricket World Cup in 1992. After retiring from cricket Imran Khan started welfare work for Pakistanis and built the largest and first cancer hospital in Pakistan. Imran Khan named the hospital "Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre", on his mother's name who died of cancer earlier. Students worked hands in hands with Imran Khan and collected large number of charity funds from public and the Cancer Hospital was made a reality.

In Politics
Imran Khan failed to get any significant success in the politics of Pakistan. However, he has been committed to the cause of helping the nation and work for it. Imran Khan leads the political party Tehreek-e-Insaf. Its his great act to leave a luxurious life and work for Nation!.
Imran Khan's Stance on War On Terror
Khan is the only politician from Pakistan (other than the religious groups) who is openly against the American aggression and war on terror. His solid stance is that the war is not helping us and it is in fact destabilizing our country and spreading violence across Pakistan, killing thousands of innocent Pakistanis. In number of interviews in the western media, he stated that this war will not bring any good to the west and in fact will ruin any good reputation they have in the Muslim world.
Imran Khan suggests that Pakistan should focus on its own survival and well being instead of obeying American policies blindly. He also stated on number of occasions that America is violating human rights and is executing / killing humans without any investigation and proof of terrorist activities.
